the boring parts
I've been working on a little Scratch demo, a 4-kilobyte intro. I wrote a packer for Scratch project files, pksb3, with the help of AI. Still figuring out how to add music to the intro. I'm planning to release it at Flashparty 2026.
I'm not entirely sure where to draw the line for using AI in recreational programming. Recently, someone uploaded to Shadertoy, quite a pretty donut demo. It was clearly made using AI, but it wasn't ugly. Effort was surely put into it. Is it okay if I let it do the boring parts?
Over the next few months, I want to work on new open-source products. Dusted off a private repo called freecc that might or might not let me borrow tokens from a particular AI company.

This got delivered, it's an abomination of two Raspberry Pi Pico that lets you drive display, audio and anything else you'd like.
Yesterday's IWCB meetup turned out to be a 12-hour socialization marathon. My social battery has been completely drained. Do not talk to me for the next month.
