DemoScene

Your're here because I somehow convinced you to read more about the Demoscene.

I keep talking about the Demoscene, but what is it exactly?

I learned programming from Scratch, look at the 3D Graphics and Scratch community for examples of what people (most of them are very young) do on Scratch. Around the same time I started programming, I also discovered the Demoscene.

Before I got into programming, I was learning to produce electronic music. Demos involve all of the three art forms: code, music, graphics

Each stimulate the senses computers currently have the capability to: code for the brain, music for the ears, graphics for the eyes.

Creating a demo requires excellence in all three crafts.

Demos need limitations, demos beat limitations. Old computers are a fitting choice. They are also simpler in design, simplicity and the constraints thereof are beautiful.

I believe AI has no place in the demoscene, demos are not useful software, we don't NEED demos, its an art form.

Demoscene productions I've made can be found at my Demozoo profile.

I know, none of them are impressive, but I hope to one day remove this line from this page.
